use: 2,3,4, 6-tetrabenzyl-D-glucopyranose is used to synthesize 3-glycosylated carbohydrate derivatives against Alzheimer's disease, if used as pharmaceutical intermediates; Cancer treatment of sulfates, phosphate carbohydrate complexes and indolyl pyrrole carbazole carbohydrate derivatives; Perfluoroalkyl carbohydrate complexes for cancer diagnosis; Voglibose, Nojiri mycin and glucosylaminolevulinate for the treatment of diabetes; Chemicalbook for the treatment of septicemia, meningitis, AIDS, osteoporosis, osteitis and other diseases such as polysaccharide, benzotriazole carbohydrate derivatives, nitrobenzyl carbohydrate derivatives, phospholipid carbohydrate conjugate. It can also be used to prepare halogenated glucopyranose, and to synthesize 1-alkylated or glycosidated D-glucopyranose derivatives. The conjugate of 1-enylation tetrabenzyl glucose and c15 crown ether is a novel phase transfer catalyst.
